There is not much choice in Roncesvalles so we brought our own meal with us – an Ainsley Harriott Lentil Dahl which we cooked in the albergue’s kitchen.
This is light to carry. Just add water.
The albergue has induction stoves so our xpot wouldn’t work, we used an albergue pot. Adding trail mix to the dahl and bread from the vending machine bulked it out. It was the best meal so far!
