We can never judge the lives of others, because each person knows only their own pain and renunciation.

León to Villar de Mazarife
The bed was so comfortable we both slept in so it was a late start today. Following the yellow arrows through a maze of lanes and streets we found our way out of León, past the Parador de León and then onto streets and industrial estates for a couple of hours. Fi said no one would do the Camino if it was all like this. But it was all forgotten as was took the alternative route and found ourselves in the countryside again.
Feet were complaining a lot today. We took a break in the shade of a tree and ate pistachios and doughnut peaches.
The sun was hot but the breeze was cool. I enjoyed the last days of open Meseta.
We walked about 21km with the emphasis on kil (according to my feet)
