Day Forty One

You are not a drop in the ocean. You are the entire ocean in a drop.

– Rumi

Logoso to Cee

Breakfast at the Albergue and we started after sunrise. The countryside changed and a sea breeze kept us cool under the sunny blue sky.

The path splits to Finisterre and Muxia

No more farmland as coastal scrub land takes over.

Our first view of the ocean

We see our destination in the distance. The lighthouse on the peninsula marks the end of the earth.

I caught my mind wandering to airports, taxi’s and trains and told it to stay in the moment. It is beautiful there.

Seeing the ocean and the peninsula with Finisterre in the distance was bittersweet like dark chocolate.

We walked 16km in four hours. The last 15km were over unpopulated hills with a steep decline to the coast.

We have 10 km to go and then the ocean ends the way and this 900km experience. It had been a wonderful day.
