The French Chapter – Day 12 – Pluvigner to Sainte-Anne-d’Auray

A beautiful rain free day walking through the countryside. It was good.

We walked 19 km today.

We met some nice people along the way today.

The innkeeper of where we stayed last night offered to drop us back to the Camino path this morning, saving a 2km walk along a busy road.

When we got to Brec’h the owner of the Bretton Bar made us a toasted sandwich with salad.

We would have stayed the night they were so friendly (it’s a B&B too) …

But we wanted to shorten the walk to Vannes tomorrow so we walked on to Sainte-Anne-d’Auray.

We checked into a budget hotel that turned out quite nice (€65)

We had vegetable galettes for dinner (buckwheat wafer filled with veggies and cheese)

We also visited the pharmacy and picked up a tick remover (just in case)
