The Spanish Chapter – Day 36 – Morgade to Castromayor

We left in the fog. It was foggy for at least three hours but the countryside looked magical in the mist. We stopped at Valacha at the vegetarian restaurant where we ate enough to get us through the day. It was great. Through Portomarin we bumped into Michelle from Melbourne and then on to Castromayor where we met Rex from Darwin and shared stories and beers until sundown. It’s a very quiet village!

We are staying at Casa Perdigueria (€34 shared bathroom).

The veggie burgers were at Vilacha (a new Albergue has just opened here too) just before Portomarin.
